You will find information on where to begin, considerations as you transition, next steps, resources, and suggested literature to support districts as they move along their journey. Standards Based Reporting power points, an overview bulletin, and reading list are just some of the items currently available. Additional resources will continue to be added. As districts implement the Common Core Standards, they are also reflecting on their reporting systems to ensure alignment with the revised standards. Many are looking at transitioning to a standards-based reporting system.
Thomas Guskey and Jane Bailey, in their book, Developing Standards-Based Report Cards, walk readers through the steps to make a positive, successful transition to standards-based report cards:
